Why Knowing Isn’t Enough and What You Can Do About It

I spend a lot of time talking in great detail about the patient attraction process. I walk through each step of the process, I talk about what you need long each step to make something happen, and I try to make everything pretty simple to understand.

If you stick around for a little while and consume my blog posts, you end up knowing more about online patient attraction than about 95% of dentists.Sadly, knowing these things doesn’t get them done.

And even more than that, knowing what you need to do doesn’t really provide the motivation you need to make it happen.

After all, you went to school to become a dentist.

You like to work on teeth. You didn’t go to school to become a patient attraction specialist. Not even close.

So I understand that, on one hand, everything I’m talking about just seems like yet another thing to add to your to-do list.

So let me just fast forward you here for a few minutes and connect the dots for you between mastering this patient attraction thing and what that can actually do for your life.

And if you have already heard of Dr. Pioch, well then here’s a refresher for you about the type of thing that’s possible with a patient attraction system that works.

So just take a moment and look at the information just below. I’ve outlined the growth that Dr. Pioch experienced in his practice over the past 6 years.

January 2008

  • Purchased two small practices
  • $800K annual combined collections
  • 15 new patients per month

December 2013

  • Annual collections soar to $3.1Million
  • 300-400 phone calls per month
  • 184-187 new patients per month

2014

  • Cut out Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • On track for $3 Million 1 Dr. and 3 hygienists
  • 400% Growth in Just 6 Years

He took his collections from $800K per year to over $3 million per year. Finally, Dr. Pioch’s growth “levelled off.” But it didn’t level off because he wasn’t getting patients.

It levelled off because he decided NOT to work for 2 days out of the week! And now, as you can see in the chart at its last update, he was on track to do $3 million with just one doctor and three hygienists. I can tell you that you don’t get results like that unless you’re attracting a very specific type of patient.

That type of patient is someone who perceives YOU as the expert, who is not afraid of investing in their health and knows that YOU are the person with whom to make that investment.

And you gain those patients by investing in, and working with, a proven patient attraction system. Forget the “silver bullets” that other firms may promise you. There ain’t no such animal.
