I use stories to build relationships with readers, clients, students, customers, and everyone I meet. Blogs, magazines, books, or websites – each is a platform to tell a story and reach people.

Lindsey Harris started out as a fiction writer. Her first book, Melissa’s Camping Accident, was “published” by her mother. She was seven years old.

Since then she has honed her writing skills with a bachelor’s degree in English from Lindsey Wilson College and a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction from Spalding University. Writing has made its way into all of her careers, from sneaking creative nonfiction into church newsletters to penning graduation programs for universities, to publishing essays in online magazines.

A medical history buff, Lindsey couldn’t think of a better way to spend her time than writing about teeth. She comes by it naturally: her mother spent 26 years working in a dental office. Neither she nor her sister has ever had a cavity. Her love of storytelling and interest in dentistry combine to produce enthusiastic, compelling content.

When not writing about teeth or reading 19th-century medical textbooks, Lindsey can be found lifting weights while listening to true crime podcasts. On weekends she likes to watch horror movies with her husband, her dog, and her cat – in that order.
