Patient Attraction Episode 728

Online reviews are the new word-of-mouth advertising. Positive reviews by your dental patients are crucial for your practice to attract more and better patients. I’ll be back with 5 tips to help you get glowing patient reviews. Stay tuned.

– Colin Receveur here, and welcome to the Patient Attraction Podcast.

– According to a survey by Zendesk, positive online reviews influenced the buying decisions of 90 percent of the participants.

Negative reviews influenced 86 percent of participants.

– People who are considering your dental practice will be influenced by your reviews.

– Rather than worrying over one or two bad reviews, focus on getting lots of really positive reviews online.

– Good reviews are based on great customer experiences.

– Assuming you provide those, here are 5 tips to get your patients to leave glowing reviews online.

– Number 1: Get found.

– Set your practice up on all the relevant review sites.

– Those include Google+, Healthgrades, Yelp, Angie’s List, LinkedIn, and Google Local Guides.

– Number 2: Make it easy.

– Your online marketing should feature links to your review sites.

– So should your offline marketing.

– Number 3: Don’t be afraid to ask for reviews.

– All your staff should thank patients for positive comments, and then ask if they’d leave a review.

– Number 4: Respond online to positive reviews.

– Gratitude and expressing that you’re glad they had a great experience go a long way.

– Number 5: If you’re allowed by your state, incentivize your patients to leave honest reviews.

– Keep incentives small but meaningful.

– Follow these 5 tips, and you should find your patients helping to define and promote your brand through their testimonials.

– If you want to see how Dr. Ronald Receveur has increased collections from $900K to more than $2 million in just five years without “selling,” you should go to www.doublecollectionswithoutselling.com.

– On tomorrow’s podcast, I’ll discuss why e-newsletters are still a good investment.

– Until then, keep moving forward.
