Patient Attraction Episode 958

Consistency in dental marketing is absolutely essential to your success. Too many dentists try to be all things to all people. In the process, their marketing sends mixed or even contradictory messages, which hurts their new patient numbers. I’ll be back after the break to tell you how to focus your marketing messages for patient attraction success.

– Welcome to the Patient Attraction Podcast™.

– I’m Colin Receveur.

– Most dentists have a number of revenue streams.

– Those streams can include the oral hygiene department, prosthodontics, oral surgery, sleep apnea treatment, and general dentistry, among others.

– There’s a temptation to try to feed all the revenue streams by marketing to all of the prospects.

– But those prospects have different concerns, different dental needs, and even different financial resources.

– Some of your prospects will be attracted to the idea of a free exam.

– But your implant patients who are paying large out of their own pockets won’t care, and may even wonder if they’ve chosen the right dentist.

– One-size-fits-all marketing just isn’t going to cut it.

– You can’t succeed by trying to be the discount dentist and a premier provider at the same time.

– Look, I’m the son of a very successful dentist, and I understand how important revenue streams are to a dental practice.

– But your marketing shouldn’t try to fill all of them at the same time.

– Identify the services that make you the most money, and then identify the ideal patients for those services.

– Market to attract those ideal patients, because they, their families, and their friends will need general dentistry and your other services.

– In other words, marketing to your ideal patients can help you fill the remainder of your revenue streams without having to go low on price.

– Keep a consistent message in your marketing, and you’ll attract better patients.

– And referrals and word-of-mouth from those better patients will help you grow your practice.

– Join me for our next podcast.

– Until tomorrow, keep moving forward.
