Vice President of Sales

ROLE:

  • In-house sales team leader, growing, managing and cultivating successful sales floor.
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience managing sales floor.
  • Successful experience in encouraging and motivating sales personnel to reach and exceed goals.
  • Digital marketing (and closely related fields) sales experience strongly suggested.
  • Reports directly to CEO.
  • Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and managing employees.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results, leading the team through exemplary sales.
  • Work with leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
  • Works with leadership team to refine sales process and material, as needed, to stay current with the ever-changing digital landscape.
  • Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing monthly sales quotas.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including marketing and account management to ensure consistent lead generation.
  • Ensure correct and consistent usage of CRM and other sales applications.
  • No relocation, must be based in Louisville, KY area.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; business and marketing majors preferred.
